Syed Shuaib Ahmad joined Karamat Muslim Girls College as Secretary in the year 1998. He dreamt with an open eye for an English Medium school and became the Founder of the institution. Karamat Public School, an English medium, was established in the year 2000.
Only primary classes began with five students in two rooms. The object was to impart education among women without any distinction of caste and creed. With the passage of time it grew into a school with a modest number of students.
April 2016 became the landmark year in the history of the school. It was this year Mrs. Lipika Chatterjee took charge of the school under the able guidance of Syed Shuaib Ahmad, who himself was an intellectual and hardworking personality. The school started progressing and the enrollment increased to 123 students. The infrastructure was looked after by Syed Shuaib Ahmad and the academic block by Mrs. Lipika Chatterjee. She laboured vigorously to bring the school into the limelight.
Though the progress was slow, the strength of the students exceeded from 123 to 325 in the year 2019. Endless inconveniences were endured during the year 2020 as the pandemic shook financially and the dropout of students increased.
20th August, 2020 was observed as the black day for Karamat. The founder of KPS, Syed Shuaib Ahmad, left for his heavenly abode. The school was solemnly blessed by Syed Naved Ahmad as the Secretary, Karamat Group of Colleges. His organising abilities, perseverance and foresight were much admired.
Another landmark in the history of KPS was 2022. The need was felt by the management to equip with a modern system of education. A comprehensive science laboratory was constructed with good apparatus and projectors, rich library, an auditorium, spacious air-cooled classrooms, separate playground for pre-primary and primary section, and a big examination hall for junior to intersection.
May God bless this institution so that it soars to greater heights of glory through the joint efforts of the Management and Mrs. Lipika Chatterjee.
To empower children to become confident, capable, and compassionate leaders. Together, let's foster a supportive environment that encourages resilience, empathy, kindness and positive relationships.
"Words cannot describe the loss we feel. But Heaven chose to give you wings. We wish we could have more time with you. Gone too soon, but not forgotten. Forever you will remain our guiding light, our shining star. Still loved, still missed and forever dear."

Words of wisdom and guidance from our school leaders.
Education is the cornerstone of a progressive and enlightened society. It goes beyond the mere acquisition of knowledge, aiming to cultivate wisdom, strong values, and a deep sense of responsibility. At Karamat Public School, we are dedicated to nurturing a generation that is informed, thoughtful, and capable of making sound decisions.
True education empowers individuals to understand complex concepts, solve problems effectively, and lead a balanced and meaningful life. Our institution remains committed to fostering a culture of excellence, dedication, and continuous growth.
My dear students, education with knowledge is not bed of roses. You have to come out from your comfort zone. In this era of competition, discipline and consistency are your TRUE POWER. Dream big, be focused, work daily, and let your efforts speak louder than excuses. Respected Parents, your belief is your child's biggest strength. Support their dreams, guide their discipline, and success will follow.
A CHILD'S GROWTH IS NEVER THE WORK OF ONE HAND.
To my dear students: You are our pride. Dream big, stay disciplined, and remember — MARKS make a report card, but values make your life. We believe in you.
To respected Parents: In this fast-changing world, your child needs your time more than your advice. Replace pressure with presence, comparison with confidence, and fear with faith. Let's raise strong hearts, not just sharp minds.
To our dedicated Teachers: You are the silent architects of the future. Every lesson you teach and every value you instill shapes a nation. Your patience today builds their character tomorrow.
When school and home walk together, no child is left behind.
Let's join hands to build not just TOPPERS, but good HUMAN BEINGS.
With hope and responsibility,
The Transformation of KPS: A Journey of Resilience and Determination
Founded in 1997, KPS English Medium Inter College has consistently overcome adversity through resilience and a commitment to excellence. A major turning point began in 2016 under the guidance of Syed Shuaib Ahmad, who worked tirelessly to rejuvenate the school's academics, infrastructure, and community.
The institution's dedication was tested during the 2020 pandemic when KPS offered free online classes to support families, a mission made possible by teachers who selflessly forewent their salaries.
Following the tragic loss of Manager Sir Syed Shuaib Ahmad, his youngest son, Sir Syed Naved Ahmad, stepped forward. Driven by his father's vision, he has successfully expanded the school's enrollment, infrastructure, and academic programs. Today, KPS stands as a thriving educational hub.
As a proud member of this community, I am deeply grateful to the Almighty for the strength to serve. I also extend my heartfelt thanks to the late Sir Syed Shuaib Ahmad for providing this platform, and to Sir Syed Naved Ahmad for his continued leadership and support.
"Every child grows best when trust flows between classroom and home."
Dear Students: Chase knowledge, practice honesty and keep showing perseverance. Results follow effort.
Dear Parents: Your support and daily involvement mean more than any tuition.
My Dear Teachers: Your commitment turns small steps into big futures.
Let's work as one team to nurture capable minds and compassionate hearts.
